Walking around the Marais, I bumped into a very charming shop.
Morten Oren’s flower boutique, at 80 rue de Turenne, in Paris.
The entrance strikes me for the contrast of the very linear black showcase, and the flowers, mostly white. I decide to enter. And … surprise! Heavenly music and divine aroma, invite the soul to join the eyes, in the contemplation of a show, in which the real becomes unreal and vice versa. Natural flowers are mixed with artificial ones, with such an ease, that is difficult to distinguish the difference. Decorative objects inspired by sacred ornaments, mirrors and objects of Baroque taste, oriental inspired decorations, mix in a masterly balanced game. A magical place. Definitely eretikos and definitely iki!
